Poetics refer to the work of artisans, poets and fathers. It consists in the discreet and silent manifestation of what was or wasn’t seen. The artisan is a visionary of the inner powers of the matter he works with. The sculptor releases the angel concealed in the marble. The poet carries in the verb the secret language of wordless things. The father releases the son and reveals the man he will be.
St. Joseph is thus the artisan of the messianic consciousness of Christ, grammarian of the incarnated Word, liberator of the Redeemer. Joseph, master in humanity, be our educator in sanctity!
