“Nothing is impossible to God. (Lk 1:37)
Saint Luke obviously does not seek to nourish insane hopes on the realization of our craziest desires. This verse concludes the annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary. It expresses the Incarnation, it is the response to man’s deepest and most obscure desire : to find familiarity with God.
Saint Joseph appears then doubly, especially for priests, as the man of the impossible : he reveals to every man his wish to have God as a father and his desire to give birth to God in every man.
