During this sweet solemnity, pilgrims would walk towards Jerusalem singing psalms: “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” ” (Ps 121, 1) “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!” (Ps 127,1) Under the sun of Galilee, Idumea, and Judea, through hills and valleys, they would sing together as one: “ the Lord is your shade on your right hand.” (Ps 120,5) “The Lord has done great things for us” (Ps 125,3) “The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. (Ps 120, 8).
